This was early start with the meet starting at 11AM and registration ending at 1PM. Surprisingly no one was seriously tardy. We forgave one for being 10 minutes late. The leaves at Pohick Bay at this time of year ware beautiful and the weather was perfect. One hundred and thirty-two people signed up for the meet. There were 7 courses and a streamer course for the small ones. Old school punch cards were used. I was very fortunate to have a good group helping me. My wife Chris and daughter Marla manned the registration desk. Sid Sachs and Kris Beecroft took turns manning the start /finish table. There were many others who helped, especially those picking up the controls: Peggy Dickison,, Tim & Ted Good, Mike Warlters, and Jon Torrance. If I missed someone I apologize.
