For the main entrance, take 288 North from I-95 exit 62. After about 6 miles, take Iron Bridge Road (Route 10 East) signed to Chesterfield. At the 3rd traffic light, after 1.5 miles, turn right onto Beach Road (Route 655). The main entrance is about 3.7 miles on the right.

For the "Horse Trailer Parking": Continue past the main State Park entrance for 0.8 miles (4.5 miles from Route 10. Parking lot is on the left. Try parking at the far end of the lot.

For the northern part of park, from I-95 south of Richmond, take VA 288 west for 10 miles to VA 604 SE (Counthouse Road)/ Go about 1 mile and look for the Orienteering signs on the right hand side. (Shortcut could be From VA 288, get off at Route 10 Iron Bridge Road and go right at the first light onto Courthouse Rd. Look for orienteering on the left.)
